Is it the digital gear indicator?

If so they were prone to distorting/melting from heat and leaking.

It could be coming from the shift shaft seal; Shift Shaft Seal; Case

Did you replace the alternator seal or just the o-ring around the outside.

Is the engine oily at the top or just the bottom?

randy, yes on the indicator its new only garage time on it,,, alt seal on the out side... o ring.. just seems like the oil appears down below...run it for twenty minutes no leak..do not want to put die in it may have to.. going to run it at the track tonite fingers crossed.. new rebuild zero laps.. frustrating..

thanks joe
