Somebody has to keep you on your toes!
I've got several on by behind that remind me that I haven't gotten anything done on my car.  :-[
I'm actually going to try to work on my wifes daily driver today. I'm not sure how it's going to go wearing a glove on one hand.  ::)
I guess cutting my finger off wasn't very smart after all!  :o  Didn't get me out of doing the "Honey Do" list, or any sympathy what so ever!  :'(
The worst part is that I didn't get my scooter fixed when I did it.  ::) ??? :'(

Steve

PS,

 Just saw the last post.............
Geeze!!!!! He is a tough man!!! Now he wants you to paint it!!! I suppose he wants you to paint it with your own blood too!!!  :D

This not working on the car 'til race day is going to kill me...got the exhaust fixed (wow, Im an ugly welder, but its strong!) fired it up and blew the t-fitting for the top end oiler in half...oil everywhere. Luckily Behlings had the fitting, so its back together now...glad it happened in the driveway and not at the track...course now I have a mess to clean up...I'll see some of you tonight...Good luck!

Keep 'em all in one piece!

Jim,
 Stay out of the infield.
I hope she stays together for you. Nothing worse than surprises at the track.

Unfortunately Jim had a very wild flip tonight, I will let him fill in the details.  Jim is doing good, the same cant be said for the car.

I spun out fighting for the lead, then spun out a couple laps later after my RR when flat.  Bad night all around except for Grant who finished 7th, his first top 10.

Season is over, car is junk.

Was hit and spun in the heat, so I needed to start in the rear for the A.

Passed a couple cars on the outside in 1&2, car was fast. A skirmish happened in front of the pack, everyone checked up, and one car pulled up high to avoid it, I jumped his right rear with my left front, and dont remember much after that. Im told that I went end over end at least twice, and was later shown where I broke the catch fence post and tore the fence apart about 10 feet off the ground. After coming off the fence I landed on the guard rail and began barrel rolling, ended up on my roof with fuel pouring in on me from the carbs being torn off. Thinking back now, that was the scariest part . They couldnt get either door open and I was soaked in fuel...I guess we cant think of what might have been, but it makes you realize whats important in life.

Anyway, Im fine, pretty sore and bruised from the belts doing their job, but physically Im good. Mentally and emotionally Im trashed worse than the car, but that will pass. Spending the day with my wife and kids today, the worst part is I had finally convinced my wife to let me bring my son into the pits tonght since we are racing the modified, I was supposed to be racing, and a friend of ours is running his Sprint car. We still have to go because its the first race with the modified, but my hearts not into it right now.

Sorry to hear about the car but glad you are OK.  It could have been a lot worse from the sound of it.

This has me thinking about those quick release pins on the door hinges that came up a while back.  Has anyone come up with something that INEX has approved?
