Got stuck running a production job last night so I had some in between runs. Got started on the fixture for the sending unit.

About 75% done.

Hi Andrew,

Any further progress with this? Is there any sort of price tag your thinking of? Thinking about a white one.

Thanks,

Eric

Alright, I haven't been spending much time lately on this project. Most of my time has been spent on my CNC conversion of a bench top mill.

But I recently started to work on this project again and hope to have a few kits ready for the dirt nationals @ Beaver dam next month.

I been having issues with getting wire that has no blemishes from MSC..... so I decided to cover the wire with expanding mesh. Testers below

I really liked the red mesh\ black shrink tube combo, So I did the one sending unit I have wired up in that combo:

Then I did the one gauge I have done in black. But I already had the fuse holder attached and could not get the shrink tube over it  :'(. So I had to just use electrical tape :-\

Again, I REALY like the Red Mesh \ black shrink tube combo. Which do you think looks better?

Andrew,

Looks nice (more finished) with the mesh and shrink tubing. Nice work!
