Congratulati0ns to Ethan Ross, Semi pro feature winner.
Don't know who won the Masters feature.
Pro feature is under a rain delay...must be a lengthy one since I'm getting texts from a pro driver!

Yeah... The wife had to take a picture of  Ethan, DJ and me. Masters feature was a battle between Eric Barth and Tim Brockhouse with Tim slipping under the rag first for the win. Pro feature was won by Jordan Huettl of ND after the rain delay, track prep ant the sprints packin it in and blowing off the crud before the pros took the green flag.
Jim... you missed the best Dirt Nationals ever....

Gimp,   Thanks for all the reports during the weekend.  Hope you stayed warm.  Were the grandstands full?
BTW - You had to get Jim all worked up now with that last comment....LOL.   Have a safe trip home.

Congratulations to Ethan Ross....Great job young man!

This Nats was great except for the weather. That was one of those race tracks that was prepped smooth and fast making you want to go back every day of the week. Too bad the weather wasn't the greatest but it kept the moisture in the track... one plus, anyway. I posted my main stories on Yahoo Groups Legendscars of the weekends events.

The new Dirt Mod, dealer Ivan Sailor and Tim Brockhouse took theirs out for an excibition run. Ivan ran a consistant line and tim showed the possabilities of the chassis by throwing it around, pitching it into the corners etc. The chassis was getting upset on them as the right side nerfs dug into the track on occasion. If a feller was to leave that set-up in it to race, would need angled up nerfs on the right similular to a mini sprint. Raise the ride heights would work too I suppose but the bars kinda limit the set-up.

Oh yeah... the main parking lot for spectators was full of cars. Amazing for how cold it was. I never looked up into the grandstands. When I walked out of the pits I walked past victory lane to the track fence at corner one entry and watched the racing from there.  We just rolled into my estate... that wind was NUTS all the way home. Someone missing a white Legends front fender it is laying a couple hundred yards east of  Minnesota mile marker 49 on the north shoulder of the west bound lane. We couldn't stop and snag it up because of heavy traffic we were caught in.
Now where was I ?? Setting the house thermostadt on the Hawaiian tropic setting !!!!! BRRRRR I still got the chills from standing outside at that joint...

I had an awesome time even though the weather was chilly. Still loved the whole weekend. Qualified 6th in the pros and won my heat race. Got second in the pro "Race of Chanpions" race. Saturday night after the rain I started 5th and ended 5th. A little bit disappointed. Thought I couyld have done a little better but will take a top 5. Here is a video of the race of champions race. I will post a link of the feature when I get it edited.

SWEET dude.... can't wait to see your view from the feature ! Thanks f or letting me check your carb sync... they weren't that far off at all. 1/4 turn on the centers and 1/2 turn out on the rear pair...

Anyone know who the 40 car in the Pro feature is?  I would like to put a name to the jerk that spun me.
