valve cover bolts
« on: May 17, 2011, 08:59:40 pm »
Does anyone know where i can get these?  I have an FJ1200 motor.  I need them to be able to race this sunday.  Should most yamaha places have these?  Or should i buy them from my dealer?

Thanks,
Dan

I think your best bet is to get ahold of Randy (RPM)
I believe he stocks them, don't think most dealers will

If  you would have emailed me yesterday I could have sent them USPS you would have had them on Friday.

Sorry about that, I am working graveyard this week and my days & nights are all screwed up. Let me know if you don't have any luck finding them locally.

Randy, do you sell the black valve cover bolt grommets or the green ones?

If all else fails, high temp RTV. Ran a motor all last year with it.
Obviously not the preferred way to do it, but does the job in a pinch until you can get some grommets
