Crew pushing my car
« on: October 22, 2010, 03:42:16 pm »
This might be a stupid question but.....Why is it so hard for my crew to push my car when the wheels are turned? Its like trying to move a brick wall.  Is this normal and i have to get my crew toughen up.

Thanks

Its because of the locked rear end for one. The tires can't turn at different rates for their respective arcs, so one is "dragging" in a sense.

The quick jack on the rear bumper makes it much easier to move if you have to turn.

Normal due to the rear end. When turning, its basically dragging one tire, so in addition to the drag of the front tires turning, you're dragging a rear also
