Man it is 30 degress outside( wind chill) ,  ice on the windsheild, town all most shut down, guess I will have to stay home and watch TV.

Actually, Today was pretty warm here, about 43* above.
Brian told me it was -42 this morning in North Dakota.

Get a nice warm blanket; grab a beer; grap your favorite racing movie; and park yourself in your favorite recliner.

Ronney your dealing with a bunch of yankies on this site.  30 without snow and ice is probably like a nice day to them.  However, when you have a month of 95+ degrees temps, 75% humidity and mosquitos out the wazoo during the summer months, they might die down your way.   All in all we all have our weather issues to deal with, but I do feel for all those guys way up north.  I dont  know how yall do it with the months of freezing temps, snow and ice.  Hang in there Ronney, you'll probably be in a tee shirt by next week.LOL

Yep I think the official temp was ...... -44    !!!!!  It was cold!!  Had fog with it too.  Weird fog, hung around and was really thick.    Anyway, we are on the climb outa the deep freeze.  Talking 40s above by monday. Nothing like a 80 degree temp swing.


Snow will hopfully melt down a bit.

Official temp was -44 this morning at 7:30 am, but had sunshine and no wind to speak of.  It was the coldest it has been in Bismarck in 59 years.  I saw on one of the TV stations website that there have only been 2 days colder than this in Bismarck since they started keeping records in 1874 (-45).    I don't mind if we get snowfall records, but don't want to see record cold temps - that really sucks.  Problem with all this snow is the track will probably still be filled with snow when the season is supposed to start.  Now that would suck!!!!!

Guys do not know how anyone handles THAT cold, I would guess it is like down south in the summer,as knuclebuster said. Well not to rub it in, but we are loading the trailer to go do a little kart racing this weekend

-10, -30 with windchill in Northeastern Ohio......I work for a collcge and we are the only school open..

Try being in St. Louis.  We had -2 yesterday morning and still get stuck with the 90+ degrees with 80% humidity during the summer.  The best of both worlds.  The pipes in the floor of my laundry room froze yesterday for the first time since we have lived in the house.  It was a whole 8 degrees on the way to work this morning.     

Not sure how your house doesn't just shatter when you close a door in -44 weather.  Think I would be digging a cave in the back yard to live in for the next few months.  Hope you at least get nice summers to make up for it.

Yeah, we're in our 2nd day of -10 and less, was -12 on the way to work today...oh well, it'll be 20 and snowing this weekend...and we still get the 95 degree pea-soup humidity here in Wisconsin too!

How does this weather effect your auto, does the oil an fuel freeze, door locks etc.
Well guys I have only one offer!!!!! Mardi Gras starts in two weeks,,,,, after ever one leaves Dayton  from the 500 stop by for another two weeks for Mardi Gras. YES,,,, I forgot there is this thing called work !!!!!
