ENGINE SWAP
« on: March 31, 2010, 09:37:34 am »
Just bought a new Blitz 4 to replace an old 1200. What is the size of the drive coupler nut? Is there anything from the 1200 that needs to be changed for the installation of the Blitz4?

if the Blitz 4 did not come with the slave cylinder, take the clutch pushrod out and make sure they are the same length... if your blitz4 did not come with the slave, and you are going to have to use the one off of your old engine, more then likely your going to have to use the pushrod out of the old engine... so long story short, if using the old slave, use the old rod as well (if the new one isnt the same length)    Other then that you should be good to go

The drive coupler nut is 36mm.  The socket must be thin wall to fit inside.  Sears sells one in a 1/2" drive that works.
