Ok, finally working on it. Short axle is broken. Looking for opinions on the 1 piece from 600 -vs- the CMG or similiar pieced together units...need to make a decision tonight...help...please....anyone....

three years ago broke long and short axles within one month. went to solid axles have raced for two years without any problems. Cost more but one less problem to worry about when you are trying to win. Also have not seen one solid axle break  under normal racing conditions.

Finally got the other half of the broken one out...it was a 2 piece, so that helped make up my mind.
