I had my first practice today and it was awesome!!! ;D  I spun out once and another car spun out behind me but we were ok cause we didnt hit each other or any thing! These Bandos are awesome. They go really fast. lol

Congrats on the first practice!  8)
Rule #1 - Try not to spin out.
 Ya, it's exciting!!! But......  :o

How did your car seem to handle? Did you just get in over your head (got caught up in the moment)? Is the car loose (wants to come around on you)? Or, do you need to get more seat time to get used to the car?
For sure, get in all the seat time you can before race day. You don't want to be wrecking your equipment or someone elses. 
Drive fast, Stay focused, But BE SAFE!

Post some pics of your car when you can.

Ya, I think I need more seat time so I can get around the track a little faster with out spinning. lol Im going to test again next weekend! ;D

Tristan,

Thanks for posting the video! Smart to stay down out of the way of the faster car. As you get more seat and practice time, you will improve your speed.
Try following the faster car. See what line he or she is taking. Work on keeping up as best you can and trying to follow that line. Remember, as your speed and racing style change, so will your cars set up. Make sure your gearing is correct for the track. All in all; You brought it home in one piece1  ;) Would have loved to see a pic of the grin on your face!  ;D Bet it was ear to ear!!!

Today, I practiced again in my Bando at Illiana. I improved a lot! It was so much fun! I actually stayed up with the more experienced drivers. There was also a new kid. He was eight and was going sorta slow, like my first time.lol  We had a little bit of a tire issue. The valve stem was leaking air and so we got that fixed by someone named Turtle (nick name). He has all the fancy tools and stuff, ya know what i mean.  I'm pretty sure he  owns the tire company considering his nick name. lol He helped alot... because that was a big problem. It was loosing air fast and so he fixed it.

Hey tristan, were you driving the black 61 car. Next time you are at illia  look up alex in the  black  82 legend.  He used to race a bando came in second  in the county in 06 with 82 wins heats and features.  We can help you out if you need it.  We will be at illia sat for opener      Gil
