And yet, another question!
« on: January 24, 2009, 09:54:55 am »
I just remembered something. How are these cars driven?? How does the clutch operated?? How do you shift?? Is it more like a motorcycle with controls on the steering wheel??

Thanks!
-Nate

Its like a motorcycle, but the shifter is on the driveshaft tunnel. 1 up, 2,3,4,5 down

The gear shift works in a forward and backward motion. Sort of like a strait line shifter. The clutch is operated like a normal street car.
You might want to take one of the test drive sessions at the track. I think they run about $50 - $60.00. We had one young lad, with no driving experience what-so-ever, that did his test drive at Atlanta. He said the shifting was fairly easy to learn.
