I could probably post some other threads, or threads from other sites. Ask 10 drivers, or mechanics, and you will get 11 different answers.
Check with your engine builder and see what is recommended.
Me............... I'm too cheap to have an engine builder!  :D
I have used Valvoline in all my cars over the years (even street cars) without problems. I am, however, leaning towards the Mobile 1 at this point.
Just my oppinion.

Just make sure it's wet clutch compatible and change  it every couple races. End of  thread!  :-X

guys, i just wanted to add one more thing that i found out the hard way.
if your on the fence about using synthetic this may help. at the shootout this summer my boy had a pretty good front end wreck, destroying both coolers, at the time the oil was at about 250 there was oil all over the headers and all it did was smoke no fire, two weeks latter a car hit the wall same damage using conventional oil it went up in flames on inpact. I felt it is well worth the extra money.
