Thoughts And Prayers For Pegalis
« on: April 30, 2008, 11:54:52 am »
Pegalis (Shaun) had a horse accident about 2 1/2 weeks ago.
He broke his tail bone, has some compressed discs, and has some upcoming surgeries.
The email I got from him yesterday, says he is starting to move around just a bit; But is still in a lot of pain.

My thoughts and Prayers go out to you Shaun.
Best Wishes on a speedy recovery!!!

 Steve

 Shaun's was riding bareback.

No seatbelts; No roll cage.

At least I Hope that's what he meant!  ;D

Thanks guys!  This really makes my day :D
The well wishes mean allot to me.
I so needed to read that.
Steve, thanks for posting this up.

Yea.  I was riding my horse when he spooked or was bitten by something.  Long story short, I landed hard on my tail bone.  Broke the heck out of it, compressed my spine and cracked the vertebrae  in a few places.   Thanks to shock, I managed to limp home.   I go in soon to have little pins put in me so my bones heal.  Fun, fun...

This is nothing that will keep me off the track for long.  The dock said that in a few months, I can get some seat time back in.

Thanks again!

Shaun

Update 5/17/08

Shaun had his surgeries, and is improving.
Says he is healing quickly, and at about 68% thus far.
