A friend has a Legends car with a FJ1200 for which I'm making a custom aftermarket Ignition box. I need to know what kind of signal the pickup coil produces. Does it produce a 5V signal like from a Hall effect sensor, or is it a Variable Reluctance signal? Do the stock pickup coils produce the same kind of signal as the aftermarket blue plate pickup coils?
