Are you looking to have someone build a 1200 open engine for you?  If so you might take a look at the Hank Scott Racing site (HSR), or Bullitt Racing in Nevada.  If you want I can put together a list for you of the ones guys tend to use out here in California.  There are lots of places that specialize in freshening the sealed engines also.  My son rebuilt the FJ1200 motor in our car (auto mechanic by trade) and it has run real well.  He basically just used WiseCo Legends series legal pistons and then put the thing back together with a lot of attention to detail.  No adjustable cam and no red box but we still hold our own.  The Yamaha engineers didn't leave a whole lot on the performance table with these engines.  They were after performance when they built it.  Good luck in your search.
