Gear Indicator Question
« on: June 17, 2014, 02:02:29 pm »
I have been running a new car without a gear indicator and find it rather challenging at times. Does anyone know which indicator I need for the connector in the picture below? It's a new sealed engine.

You will need a complete gear ind. kit. This is fairly simple to install and I am sure if you have issues many of us on this list would help guide you through it. There is an after market kit sold here on a different thread. There are lots of pictures of the components involved. It basically consists of changing the neutral ind. plate on the rear of the engine (3 screws), installing the new gauge in the dash and connecting some wiring. Your choices are the USLC kit sold by dealers or the after market kit sold on this site.

Nuetral light. The gear indicator has more pins.
