Ride height. Tech question

Is there a right or wrong way for techman to check ride height.  Do they just check it after driver exits the car,do the bounce the car to settle or step down on bumper then check?  Or is it up the individual tech guy?

I have seen it done all those ways that you said and more. We used to have ours measured out of the car and push down to to qualify and everyone would let air out of there tires for about 10 minutes......LOL. Didn't really makes sense but that is how they did it. So yes it is up to your tech guys but make sure they don't hit the weld on the front clip.
