Wilwood Brake Kit Update
« on: March 01, 2014, 06:07:55 pm »
As posted on CMG website yesterday.

ATTENTION LEGENDS RACERS....US Legends Cars has decided to not to include brake pads in the new Wilwood Brake Kits.
A variety of pads will be offered from less aggressive to very aggressive to be purchased separate from the kit.
The new price for the kit is now $369.99
Pads range from $34.99 to $149.99 depending on how aggressive a set you want.

WOW! They dropped price a whopping $20... ::)   Sure it's nice to have a better variety of pad selection, but they could have taken a little more off the price to make up for it.

The BP10 that came with the kit retails around $42.00. I think it was silly that they included pads in the first place, but can see your point Mark. Take away a $40 part and reduce the price $20.
I need to switch to their line of thinking so I can build the new shop ::)

No worries though, I have BP10, 20, 30, 40, and PolyMatrix  A in stock, along with multiple Brake Man compound pads

More fantastic engineering by folks without engineering degrees.  Lets take 70% of the brake pad away and tell our customers its a better product..... Lol

Many series run the same exact caliper. I bought mine for less than $100 used. Yes; I had to buy pads. Still way under what USLC wants for the same equipment you can buy anywhere on the net. Not crazy about that; But not my call to make.

I REALLY hate "silly season"!
