FJ1200 Crank Bearing Color Codes / Part Numbers

only 2 of the bearings still have the color code on the side. I found part numbers on the them but can not match them with colors anywhere.

Here is what I have. any help finding J & E would be great.

D5J
D5E
D5D  - Green
D5D  - Green
D5H - Red

Match the numbers on the case and crank like the service manual tells you....

You cannot use the numbers on the back of the bearing to tell you size, they are all over the map. Here is one example just by pulling a few black rod bearings out of stock.

I have two different shell numbers on the same black color bearing.



You can also that my green bearings are D8D


Like Grape said, you have to use the numbers on the crank, rods & case to determine the proper bearings.

and finally...there is not a red color for the Yamaha bearing, there is a pink but not red.
