Texas oil filter setup, GOOD or BAD?

Just wanted everyones oppions on this setup, i recieved my new engine with this setup, i have no prior experience with this setup. Not sure if i should run it or not? Thanks

I switched to it this year after being apposed to it but all my teammates were running it and it make engine swaps easier when all are the same. It does clean up the engine compartment a lot and so far so good.
