Here is a picture of my steering bracket. I apologize for it taking so long. Every time I went to the shop I forgot to take a picture of it. I have the car at my house painting the bracket right now because when we welded it the paint burnt and it wooked like a burnt hot dog.

I had one of these in my last car and soon be upgrading my new car to the same unit, just needs a spacer machined to suit the cross bar in the legends.

Neither steering bracket is legal for legends cars , as far as I am aware.

Mine was fitted to the car when it was in USA so must of been illegal over there. Don't see how a part like this can change the  cars performance....

It doesn't enhance the cars performance at all. We had this discussion in another thread.
Still, it is not legal "as delivered by".

68. STEERING COLUMN: The steering shaft or steering column bracket may be modified for driver comfort or safety by altering the length of the shaft or by altering the steering column bracket that connects to the dash (if the “dash” bracket is replaced, steel brackets must be used, no aluminum).

I like Robbies post. USLC selling a bracket that doesn't even meet INEX rules. Alminum and bolt on does not meet their rules. We have gone rounds in different posts on this subject. Not a performance gain; But depending on their mood, it is still illeagal according to their rules.

I can buy a bolt on aluminum bracket for less than 1/2 that price from dang near any other dealer on the net. Then USLC wonders why they have trouble selling parts. Sorry to rant; I just don't see their logic.

I thought that bracket was marketed by Steve Dawson Racing ? Regardless, wear a rain coat in tech if you have one of them suckers mounted, cuz INEX tech would spout like a fountain all over it

If I recall correctly, the rule reads no aluminum  or bolt on brackets. Must be steel and welded on.
