Changing shocks
« on: February 17, 2013, 11:39:00 am »
I am changing my shocks and can't seem to get the adjuster off the bottom of the shock to put on the new shocks. Can anyone point me in thr right direction as to how to get them off and on the new shocks?

Thanks,

Scott

Also, where does the snap ring belong in the top groove or bottom groove on the new shocks.

A lot of times they almost get glued on from the dirt and stuff of racing.  They can be a pain to get off I've had to lightly tap it with a hammer to get them off.  As far as which one to put the clip in, it all depends on the setup of the car and where your ride heights are at.

most 0f the time 10 inch springs bottom line. 8 inch springs top line[most of the time].  the adjusters come off tward the rod end..
