Shifter linkage setup.
« on: February 05, 2013, 02:30:32 pm »
Hey guys,

Is there a right and wrong way to set this all up as far as the length of the rod from the shifter to the tringular shifter plate, the length of the small verticle tie rod from the plate to the arm on the motor, and lastly, the correct angle of the shifter arm on the motor?

Ive have been told that its best to keep the verticle tie rod (from the triangular plate to the arm on the motor) as close to 90 degrees as possible.  What else should I look for?

Thanks,

Eric
