Here is something really interesting...we lost over a day and a half of traffic records this month during my server changeover fiasco, but we are still about to set a new pageview count record this month.  The only thing different is the speed of the site, and that is due to the new server.  That tells me the site has become a better tool for the users, and that's the goal.

I was noticing the lag on the old server.  Wasn't sure if it was just my connection or the server.  Now that you're on the new server it's much more responsive.  Good Job!

This site has been the most useful site for me so far.  Once I put together a list of all the reading material you and the others have mentioned, do you want me to send it to you as a separate list?  Maybe we could have some kind of a quick one pager with the most useful reading material pinned/stickied to the top?

The list I was going to compile is just of all the reading and reference material mentioned on this site so far.  When I first joined, I spent about 3 days reading through every post.  I didn't write down any of the material mentioned.  Weeks later I wanted to try to find one of the articles that mentioned a couple of good setup books, and realize it was going to take some time finding it.  I figured if we kept a list of all reading and reference materials, and updated it with new entries, it would make life a whole lot easier.

I'll start working on that now that the car is looking better.

BTW Steve.  Have you got any pictures of the beast you're putting together?  Progress pics?

I like that '40!  Wish the picture was a wee bit larger.  Can't get much definition with a picture that size.  So is the size of this thing about the same as a legend?  I can see why someone wanted to steal it, it'd make a great street rod.
