1200 open....oil help

new to the sport, I have a 1200 open motor, just woundering what kind of oil to run and how many quartz do you use and what kind of decent oil filter?? thanks alot

Lots of old posts about oil, filters and coolers. Do a search and you likely find more than you need to know about oil, filters and coolers. If you don't already have a top end cooler, their are several threads and dealers here on the site that carry them.
