Raise compression with cam gears

Is it possible raise my compression with adjusting my cam gears

 1200 engine with slotted cam gears, yes. 1250 sealed without slotted gears... well maybe, but not alot. You would have to loosen the cam gear bolts and retard the intake cam as much as you can then snug the bolts back down. Once both gear bolts are snug in the position you want them, it is best to remove one bolt at a time, thereafter, drop some loctite (thread sealer) on the threads and torque to spec. Then turn the cam 180 degrees and remove the other bolt, loctite the threads and tighten the bolt to torque spec.
 If you have a 1200 with slotted cam gears, I would leave the cams alone. The engine builder most likely degreed the intake and exhaust cams to spec for optimal engine performance. adjusting the cams may increase compression but overall you will lose hp and performance.
