Getting Back Racing
« on: December 03, 2007, 06:54:17 pm »
I have a 40 ford coupe that was rebuilt around  1995 or 96 .  I wrecked it and had to have a new frame . The car has only been run a few times since then and that was at the drag strip . Has anything changed to stop me from running the car  the way it is . The car is race ready as far as when i rebuilt it in 96 . I have been told the frame is outdated and i cant run it now from  a local racer .

It would be best to check with Lisa Will at 600 racing on the chassis. Other than that you will need a new fuel cell if it has the red plastic one, a set of Bilstein shocks and coil kits, and a set of aluminum spindles.

I'm gonna go with what Geoff said.
I'd like to see some pics because I'm building a '40 Coupe.
Hope you are back soon!

 Best of Luck
