caliper mounts?
« on: May 14, 2012, 02:00:21 am »
maybe a dumb question..but i just recently traded my modified for a legend..anyways the guy gave me a bunch of parts and in these boxes there are some blue anodized caliper brackets...they look as if there supposed to fit a rear end..did i get parts that are not for this car being its drum brakes..or do they put disc on the rear? thanks.

There is a kit for rear disc brakes for the Thunder Roadsters. Perhaps he was planning to convert to rear disc for non-INEX events.

Was also wondering if they could be something like the Hawk Machine caliper brackets for the front. Their caliper brackets aren't anodized. Perhaps another company. ???
I would think that they are some kind of aftermarket caliper bracket but could not tell you if they are for front or rear.

Cool! Perhaps Randy, Dennis or LRC can tell you for sure.
