Just curious, what is the stock compression of a 1200, if it just came out of a bike.

Depends on how the bike was taken care of for 20 years.
Not being a smart ass, but the numbers will vary greatly

Just wondering if we run these at a lot more compression than stock, or if the 165 is comparable to a stock motor.  Not looking for particulars, just a general idea.

I believe stock they were in the 180 range. 165 was definately de-tuning them

Jim is correct, I had a good stock motor in the bike and it was 180 across.
