Differential offset

Hello,

I am new to Legend Car racing and sure apprieciate all the info. here.
I am looking to set up my 37 Sedan and have conflicting info. on whick side I should offset my differential. I race on a 3/8 mile banked paved oval. Presently it is offst to the left.

On the left side of the car, you want to get a close to the 6" rule as you can. That means you want to get as close to 6" from the lip of the drum to the frame rail. This measurement is taken directly under the rear end housing, do not get right at 6", leave a little room for error and tech tools varying slightly.
