Tire Temp Gauge

What is everyone using to check there Tire Temps? I need to get a new one and looking to see what all is Availible/

Mine is very similar to the Longacre or AccuTech digital pyrometer. Don't remember the exact brand right off.

infared gun.  I have two one from Harbor Freight and one built into my Omega SuperMeter.  Both seem ok but a contact Pyrometer is much better.

Check Joes racing products. They have some very nice ones. The probe is offset to 90 degrees so it is easy to get under the fenders.

The infrared models are not very accurate for tire temps as the surface of the tire cools quickly after a run.  The probe measures the temp below the surface where it is more stable.
