The mailings of the 2011 INEX rulebook have been delayed. The 2010 INEX rulebook will remain applicable until the 2011 INEX rulebook is delivered and a "start-date" is posted on the US Legend Cars International web site.
Below is a list of some of the changes you will see in the 2011 INEX rulebook.
NOTABLE CHANGES
FOR THE 2011 INEX RULEBOOK
LEGENDS, BANDOLERO AND THUNDER CARS:
- Carbon Fiber is not permitted to be used on any car.
LEGENDS AND THUNDER CARS:
- No fuel filters in the engine compartment.
LEGENDS AND BANDOLERO CARS:
- Tire tread depth will be governed using the "wear bar" rules (not 2/32").
LEGENDS ONLY:
- The angle of the hood can be no more than 3.5 degrees, as measured in comparison with the sub-frame of the chassis.
BANDOLERO ONLY:
- Air jets ("snake eye jets") cannot be changed to allen head jets or drilled for size.\
