This season will be our first time on that track, Is there a gear rule and which restrictor plate is used if any and any other advice would be helpful.

Contact the track or the tech inspector at Irwindale.
Sorry! Best advice I have for you. Rules differ so much from track to track and coast to coast.
I don't have any info for Irwindale in my files. Bando info is hard to obtain.
