Who all runs in the race of champions?  Is this just track champions, or something that you can earn a spot in through qualifying?

It is either State or track Champions, I don't remember which...nothing you can qualify into though

last year it was state champions and they ran the young lions and semi pros together for the race of champions

As I have not won anything since a soccer tournament when I was 7 years old ( I kicked ass that final game...remember it like it was 29 years ago...oh yeah, it was) , I cannot add to this portion of the thread anything other than I will be videotaping this particular event, as I will not be a competitor of the any type of champion race  

I will have the roof cam and the rear view cam in my car for the Semi-pro races, as well as all races will be videotaped from the pits...hopefully there is a good viewing area/bleachers

So dumb question that I should know the answer for but what does it actually meen when you win a qualifier race at your track? I did so, but dont exactly know what that does for me.

I believe it means you're guaranteed a spot in the a-main? Not 100% sure but that's what i think.
