wire windshield sun shield?

not sure what their called, but in pictures it looks to be made out of lexan or plastic of some type. it goes accross the upper part of the wire windshield and cuts down on the height of the opening. not sure what its for?? where can you buy these or do ppl just make them??

I built one years back for my mod. Just used a piece of smoke Lexan. Attached it with some fender washers and bolts. You might be able to find some ends, or scraps, at your  local glass shop. Usally used to cut down on glare.
