Thanks everyone for all the information I've been able to get by lurking here for the last few weeks.

Unfortunately, I think I bought a car that can't be raced because the VIN plate is missing and there is no title.  I should have started reading a week or so earlier.  It was a really great deal and I'll now have a bunch of extra parts.  Now I need to find some money to buy another car.

I am having a ton of fun tearing the car apart and I hope I'll be able to get it back together.

You still might be able to get it titled. Most tracks don't tend to check so close on the title; So you still may be able to race it. Once in awhile I see people wanting to sell tile and VIN plate. You can call USLC  and explain your situation. Perhaps with whatever info you are able to supply, they can issue you a new title.

Glad you are enjoying the site. Lots of good people here that will help you with whatever questions you have. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.

Regards,

Steve

Tony,

Just because you don't currently have a title or vin does not mean that all you have is a pile of parts. Talk to Jim, DJ, Ethan, or any of our members that race Beaver Dam. I am sure they will try to help you out. DO visit Jim in the pits and help him out. He's an old man and needs all the help he can get.  ;D Seriously, he's a good guy and can teach you a lot.

If I failed to Welcome you to the site, I am very sorry! We have been getting so many members lately, and it's hard to keep up with all of them.
Anyway; WELCOME to the legendsracer family. Lot's of good folks here on the site. Don't be shy; Ask whatever questions you have. We've likely all asked the same questions. If there is anything here on the site that you need help researching, feel free to PM me. Jim and DJ are also moderators on the site and can help you.

Best Of Luck to you,

Steve

Good evening! I'm Justin,  friends and family call me Tiny. I have always had an interest in autos and racing. I live in Minnesota and have considered getting into racing. I am new to racing and would like to connect with other racers for advice and insight on starting this as a hobby and or possible career.

I look forward to hearing from you with any valuable information for someone looking to start racing Legends.

Thanks!

Justin

Hi Tiny,

Welcome to the Legendsracer family!
Lots of good folks here.  We do have a few members in Minnesota. Hopefully, they will chime in and say hello.
Read through the old threads and check out the rulebook. Legends cars are a spec racer class and fairly reasonable to purchase and maintain.
Hope you enjoy the site! If you have any questions about the site, feel free to message me.

What's up everyone?  My name is Kyle and I'm seriously thinking about getting involved in racing legend cars.  I've been racing go karts for over 10 years now with some success.  I understand what it takes to be competitive so I want to begin gaining as much information as I can.  I have no doubt that there is good info on here for beginners but I'm having some difficulty with my searches.  Can anyone possibly put up some hyper links of any useful threads for someone like me?  Thanks!
