Setting Toe
« on: October 29, 2009, 03:03:38 pm »
When setting toe does it matter which tie-rod u use to adjust it ? Someone told me to use the Right side to set toe. Why, don't u want the left side to have the toe-out & the right side "square" in relation to the left ?

THANKS

I  always set the right side front tire parallel to the right rear and center the steering wheel, then set the toe on the left side.  If the toe were to get "knocked out" the driver will see the steering wheel not centered.  This method also gives the driver a consistant steering wheel position.
