Best Chain Lube

Dupont "Teflon Multi-Use Dry Wax Lubricant"  AKA Dupont "Performance Dry Multi-Use Lubricant with Teflon"

This is from the Performance Lubricant line from Dupont.  It dries to a non-sticky film that will remain in critical areas of the chain longer than anything I have ever found.  Dirt does not stick to it.  (teflon is a non-stick coating too).

DO NOT GET THIS STUFF INSIDE YOUR CLUTCH OR ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR BRAKES.  Teflon is slippery.  It goes on as a watery liquid that dries very quickly.  After application, give it a few minutes to dry before running and it won't sling off.

I have found it at Lowes, and O'Reilly's Auto Parts.

Some of the karting guys are soaking their chains in crock pots. Use your favorite lube or chain wax in an old crock pot ( as wife does not appreciate the finer point of this :D); Soak clean chain for a day or so, wipe clean, and install or put in ziplock bag to use as back up.

Just my .02 worth

I Like this stuff from the motorcycle shop.  It is messy but it works great.
