I went to help work on the T48 car yesterday.  His wife is the one who normally posts here.  I haven't heard much out of her in the last week.  I'll have to check up on her.

I started a forum in 2005 called heymow.com for some of my lawnmower racing buddies.  It has really taken off.  It has more than 700 members and gets several hundred thousand page views each month.

The thing that has to happen is the site has to clear "The Sandbox" on Google.  That takes 6 months from the first day Google spiders the site.  Once it clears the sandbox, Google considers it a real deal and starts listing it in regular searches.  (So I can back off of paying to get listed).  We have about 2 months to go.  The site will grow dramatically after that.

Hi Tom,
 The site is taking off. I know it takes time. If you Google "Legends Car" this is one of the first sites to show up. It's a good place, and lots of nice people.
 I'll have to check your other site for my go kart project. It's pretty much done; but you know how projects are. ;) You should add a link to the site. Just a thought.

Steve,  The reason it shows up at the top in Google (sometimes) is because I pay for it to get listed in Google's sponsored listings.  The ads from Google her on this forum, as well as my other sites are to help offset the cost of the sponsored listings.  We aren't yet listed in the regular listings because we have not been around long enough yet.
