Weekly entry fee cost?
« on: August 02, 2015, 10:16:50 am »
Our track "promoter" just raised our weekly entry fee from 25 bucks to 50 ( 25 pit pas and 25 "car fee") for our weekly races.  Could you guys post what you pay for weekly entry fees at your track?  Just curious if this is way out of line with the norm.

Thanks

$30 and $35 for specials. Payback to start the feature is $45. 50 is high IMO. What is the purse?

I race with slack11. He forgot to add that we have to pay $35 for special shows, with no increase in payout.

Georgia Dirt tracks: $25 pit pass, $10 entry fee. Our payouts are $200, 125, 75, 60, 50, then $25 rest of the field.

Anderson Speedway is $25 entry and a $5 transponder fee so lets call it $30. I think they pay $200 to win. Here is the kicker, they only pay the top 10. Which is $25 .

Concord (Not Charlotte) they rape you. It is like $20 pit pass and another $20 car entry fee. $40 for special races. But they do pay like $500 on those nights. So if your a front runner its worth it. If your just starting like me it's a kick in the pants.

You forgot the part about how Concord only pays back $10-15 unless you finish in the top 3 and you have to come pick the check up at the next race....

Well you just answered a question I had. I went there and finished top 10. I figured I would get something. By the time I loaded up and began asking where the payout was at everyone had left!

Wake County is $35 paying out entire field. $250 to win. Southern National is $30 paying out entire field. $300 to win. And East Carolina is $25 paying out entire field. $300 to win. So to the original poster sounds to me like the track is smoking something! Even though the are paying you back your pit pass they didn't do anything to the top prizes.
