Road racing
« on: December 02, 2014, 06:50:11 am »
I have to tell you I had more fun in a race car this weekend at Summit Point than I have had in a long time. If you have not tried you are missing out. I now can say I have tried all forms of Legends racing and they are all fun in there own way but what a blast we had this last weekend.

I know Teddy Hough and Tim Brockhouse did some road racing this past year and had a great time.

Was chatting with John Gornet (MO) yesterday; He was telling me about a series called Chumpcar. Looked up their website. Poor mans answer to road course endurance racing. Looks like fun!

I usually make it to New Hampshire motor speedway for their 1.5 mile road course a few times a year. A lot of guys up here have two cars, one for the oval and one for the road course. I love it. Its pretty cool that we use the entire front stretch. Ive even run in the rain there a few times, good times.
