Fuel Cell Question

Can I purchase just the sponge to go inside the fuel cell or do they make you buy the whole fuel cell with sponge already installed. It appears my sponge is starting to come apart and I what to replace it before I start having carburetor problems.

Yes you can get just the foam. Any racing supply store should carry it. Also Jegs, Summitt any place like that. Then you just cut it to fit your fuel cell.

Ethanol is killer on fuel cell foam. I change mine every other year just to be safe, and run a good fuel filter to keep it out of the carbs
