Remote oil filter housing size?
« on: July 11, 2012, 09:21:17 pm »
Anyone tell me what the stock (not hank Scott stuff ) remote oil filter mount is for inlet and outlet?  Looking at other catalogs they are typically a 1/2" npt inlet and outlet.  Is this what is typical on a legends car?  Snapped mine, dealer here it out of them, and need to get one by Friday.  Hoping to find one local.

They are all the same I think, at least the ones I've seen are.
Moroso makes a pretty resonably priced one.
I have them in stock if you can't find one locally

If yours is a two port, basic style. They are available many places and the only difference is that some are for a chevy filter and some are a Ford filter (3/4 or 13/16 thread for the filter). Summit Racing has them for sure as do most Legend Dealers such as myself. If you want to plan ahead for a better oiling system buy a 3 port and put a 1/2" threaded plug in the 3rd port. I have a nice Billet one for $90.00.
