New pace car build
« on: April 22, 2012, 02:10:31 am »
Here is the Columbia River Legends Pace car that I built out of an old Allison car, '96 I believe.I cut the top off and strengthened the frame rails. Though you cannot see it, there are red LED lights under the front and rear of the car that can either light up when turned on, or can be switched to be hooked to the stereo amp which makes the lights light up when the bass hits the sub woofer. I also painted the car, including the wood grain. I had a lot of fun building it and have been pretty pleased with people's reaction. I just wish I could have started with a new frame and body! Talk about a lot of work!!!

Thanks for looking,

Very similar to what I want my coupe to look like IF I ever get it done.
My budget and time have been very limited. I'm trying hard to free up more time to devote to the race cars.
I hope to have my sedan somewhat race ready in the next few months. I have most everything I need. Wish I had welding skills.  :-[
May have to move to Canada so I can have a garage and heated floors. LOL!!!!!  ;D Not getting any younger.  :P :P :P
