Torque on lug nuts?

What do you guys torque your lugs to?   I zip mine on with a impact then torque.  I have had my torque wrench set to the right number for all last year, changed it to do something else, now can't remember what it was at......

Assuming you are using 12mm studs, 70-80 lb-ft is the recommended range

You should really zero your torque wrench when your done. It helps it keep it accurate.

I do not know if that is still true. When I was a mechanic all the tool trucks said that is not true any more. They all so said that it did not hurt to zero them out. So I zero all my torque wretches.

When I was a mechanic, all the tool trucks tried to sell tools, thats their job.
I'd continue to zero it out
