I also can't stand the "stay in your own pit rule" that the Beaver Dam, GM keeps yelling about.

The way I read it, I break something on my car I can't go to anyones pit and ask for help? Right, I'd breaking the rule lol

I liked the first few years I raced Legends. If I got into someone or they got into me 9 times out 10 we would talk about it after the race get over it and maybe laugh about it.

Now they should just change the rule to "No one enter Muellers Pit"

/end rant

Not this weekend...just Beaver Dam Saturday.
We host Mothers day at our house, so I should probably be here  :D
Hopefully they get the shows in, they've been rained out so far down there all season.
I wouldnt be surprised to see Brandon go to Tipton Friday

So you're say'n there's a rule about entering someones pit? I did not know that, wonder if that's what I got in trouble for? :)

OK....Lets go a little further with INEX application rule,  2012 rulebook, page 6:

Membership application forms must be fully executed, signed by the applicant, and accompanied by the appropriate funds.  The mere acceptance  of an INEX membership application form in th field or at INEX does not constitute the issuance or or approval by INEX of INEX membership.

Also, skipping to page 10 regarding INEX officials:

The tech inspector will also assist in verifying that all driver are members of INEX.

So to recap, if it is true that the driver in question was basically put in this car the day of the race, the chances of accomplishing all the above are very slim and it is the job of the INEX inspector to make sure all drivers are members of INEX.

BTW - Brian...nice to see you back.  You sure aren't missing anything... ;D

I understand the frustration. Not anything that seems to be accomplished by continuing on about it. I know that some of you need to blow off a little steam.
Lets all try to move on, think about next weeks racing and more positive thoughts.

Thank You,

Steve

Steve,

I had a long discussion via phone with the INEX tech inspector and yes, we have moved on.   Hopefully on to cleaner and better shows with much less controversy.....End of this discussion!  ;)

tough day staturday, we had a big piece of rubber get stuck under the muffler and smoke the cockpit out.  I thought i had a motor going and pulled off while running inside the top 10.  Then today we had a good car in practice, but got tight in the feature and ended up 12th.  Both cars are in one piece without a lot of damage which is a plus.
