Ditto on the miserable night for me personally,  mine still runs like garbage too, also is a carb issue....has to be, everything else has been replaced. Luckily you can reproduce whats happening, mine only does it under load on the track.
Make sure you change your oil Ethan, with as rich as that thing is running, you've got to be dumping fuel in the crankcase.

On a positive note, Dan had a great run tonight, finishing 3rd only behind the driver that has won the last 3 A-Mains in a row, and the 4 time Masters National Champ.
The best VMS Motorsports finish to date. Thanks Dan!

Yes i'm going to change the oil this week. Do the 3 plugs that were dirty have to be changed too?

And i was going to finish the race until the last restart, shifter broke and had to pull to the inside of the track..

I need to email this site to myself so I can find it on my new shop computer. I have been swamped at my shop.  Bought a temp motor for my coupe that I will be picking up tomorrow. Also bought a main engine that will be in my coupe in a few weeks. My car should be done for thursday night's race.

Yes, they were pretty bad, would cause you problems even after your carb issue is cleared up.

Not a good night in DE. finished last...........LOL. Went with a new set up and it didn't work
springs where 180 LF    200 RF

                              150 LR  140 RR

It doesn't work if you were woundering.

to heave up front and to light in the rear.

What was the cross at? Or tire pressures? Those spring rates almost exact same as mine.

cross was 47.5 and 12psi on right and 6 on the left. The track was a little bigger than a 1/4 mile and not much banking.

Well after the year started off pretty good with solid top 3 runs. The last 4 weeks have been terrible. Have had something get tore up every week. Either in practice or heat race from drivers cutting down on you in the ceter of the corner or sliding up into you. Then this past friday on the first lap of the feature starting 6th. The outside pole sitter spun in the middle on 1&2 and the 3rd pplace guy hangs a hard right and looses it and drills me in the left door. Wheel hopped him and landed on the wall with the rear end on the way down. And pretty muched trashed the chassis. Guess I will get the back up ready now. Sooner than I wanted to.

Here is a incar video of the wreck. It's a lil dark but we are working on lighting it up some.

These aren't exact numbers but my cross is around 52% with 9 - 8psi on the lefts and 13.5psi in rf and somewhere around 11psi in the rr. 1/3 mile track variable banking. I'm able to actually drive off the corners unlike last season where i was just sliding or not getting any forward bite at all.

If you need somewhere to dump the chassis....I'm looking for a wreck to build this winter. Might give asphalt a try next year if I pick up another car.
Glad you're OK Lee

Lee,

Seems to be turning out rough on a lot of drivers this season.
I'm glad you are OK!

Swap the front springs around, 200 left front and 180 on right front.

On another note, my main motor eather cracked heads or dropped valve seats. 5 heads total. This weekend in Glyndon MN, I picked up a backup motor from Joe Kostreba. My wife and I installed it last night (until 3AM). The engine is definately lacking power of my main engine, but it will do I guess. Keep me from spinning the tires anyway
