I replaced mine last year.  I dont know what the cost from 600 will be, but I got 10 foot roll of 5/16 s/s line for about 40 bucks from E-bay...

its $50 from 600 right now, but they still don't have a kit ready. They are working on a push-loc connector for the line so it doesnt pull off the carb, which is how most of the fires started last year, which makes the line change rule meaningless until theres a way to keep it attached...

You cant change the hose barb on the carb so what are they going to do?

It looks like Jegs may have even a better price than the place on Ebay, 25' for $59.99 from Jegs.  Thats really close to what I paid on Ebay and I can do all three of my cars for what 660 wanted for one kit.

All I know is what the guy in the parts department at 600 told me, that he thought it was a waste of time and money to use the ss line with a hose clamp until they could keep the lines on the carb, because that is the problem. He said they have someone developing a push-loc connector to help with the problem. Didn't even want to sell me the line, told me to wait.

I have said in the past, use 5/16 line and trim off the S/S about 1 to 2 inches from the end.  Use a reg hose clamp on the rubber.  Tape the S/S where you trimmed it so it will not fray....Done.  did 2 cars last winter and have had no problems on either.
