Another question ... so I'm gettin ready to insert my new bushings for my motor mount and noticed my stock bike engine seems to have what looks like a pressed in aluminium bushing ... at least I think its pressed in and not a actual part of the case... I know some of you have used stock bike engines and I'm lookin for your help... im almost positive I'm gonna need to drill this out but before I pass the point if no return...HELP. ((( the rear part of the engine(closest to fire wall) is the area in question.. the front one had the stock rubber one that came right out.

Yes, you have to get that out and with the engine assembled you are going to have to make some sort of press to press it out or drill it to pieces so you can get it out.
Whatever you do DO NOT BEAT ON IT WITH A HAMMER, you WILL BREAK the case.

Thanks for the quick response... I hope you and everyone else that helps people out on this forum knows how much its appreciated... some things can seam so obvious but a little confirmation is sometimes all it takes to get up the nerve to take a drill to it .

It is going to have to look something like this...
Drill carefully so not to damage the case and keep drilling out the bushing.

I can say from experience, DO NOT HIT THIS WITH A HAMMER. As Randy said, you will break the case.
Easiest way is indeed to drill it out. Good luck, and be patient.
