Oven Size for powdercoating chassis?
«

Here is a random question....
How large of an oven is needed to get a chassis into to powdercoat? There is a guy here with an 8 foot oven, is that large enough for the chassis without bumpers? Wondering if someone on here has run into this before.
Thanks.

I do not think it is as the chassis is about 10ft.

I agree. it will not fit. We fit are legend on to a 5 by 10 open trailer with the bumpers off and it just barley fits.

I think it would be a tight squeeze, Nate.
You could measure the chassis to double check. Since the bumpers, nerf bars, etc... would not be attached, it may be able to be squeezed in.

It would depend on how wide and how tall the oven is.
The chassis is 10' like Dennis said. depending on the other dimensions of the oven, they may be able to angle it so the front is raised up.
